Microdermabrasion can help restore your skin’s lost vibrancy while improving skin damage, visible signs of aging and visible sun damage. Microdermabrasion also helps boost collagen production, which makes the skin “bounce back” rather than sag, making it appear more youthful.
Microdermabrasion is a painless, minimally invasive treatment that is equally effective for all skin types. Microdermabrasion is a type of cosmetic exfoliation, which only involves the stratum corneum – the topmost layer of the skin, that often shows the visible effects of aging and sun damage. It differs from “dermabrasion”, a medical procedure, which penetrates more deeply into skin layers.
The treatment involves spraying tiny, inert exfoliating crystals on the skin. There is no downtime after a treatment, although for 24 hours your skin may appear pink and feel dry or tight, similar to windburn or mild sunburn.

After a Treatment
Results from microdermabrasion or a “microderm facial” can last for several months or more if you use a proper skincare regimen. You’ll see visible results within days of a treatment. Depending on the severity or number of skin concerns being treated, several treatments may be recommended. To maintain your refreshed appearance, periodic top-up treatments should become a part of your long-term skincare routine. You may return to normal activities immediately after the treatment. To help your skin recover and to replenish moisture, a hydrating toner and moisturizer may be applied. Our microdermabrasion technicians will provide advice and post-treatment care and products.
